“Where in Ottawa?”: you lot need more clues!

View of Ottawa from Peace Tower

Last week we ran the first installment of a contest contributor Chris Warden calls "Where in Ottawa?". At present the only prize associated with the contest is bragging rights, but for now even that reward is nowhere to be seen, because no one at all was able to guess the right answer!

So to help jog a visual memory or two, perhaps because it's Christmas and he's in a charitable frame of mind, Chris has supplied a very detailed clue that should help a sharp-eyed reader or two get to the bottom of this mystery:

"I was built in two halves to allow my original owners to continuously operate during my construction through the depth of the entire block. While the original competition brief called for only Canadian materials, my interior contains a variety of high quality finishes from around the world. My exterior is pretty much solidly Canadian in its materials, however. My picture is hiding in one of the embedded scenes on my exterior. You still have to find out where my likeness is featured on my exterior."

Email Chris with your guesses or to suggest clues for future installments of the contest, and we'll print the names of the winners in a week's time.
