When I was last in the city in Decenber I saw these bikes racks and was very excited, both as a cyclist and because I know one of the artists. When I returned to the city last Thursday, I was shocked to notice that every single bike rack in this series had disappeared. What's going on? I have asked around but found no answer. I volunteer my bike for a Saturday DYI class to teach others how to use the new racks. It is almost as if we need to have public demonstrations on how to use anything 'new' in this city.
