Hi Nick,

No worrries! The Bank Street bike racks had some issues with rust coating and have been returned to the manufacturer for refinishing; they'll be re-installed as soon as that process is complete.

Hi there,
I'm a long-time resident of Ottawa but currently live in Victoria, BC. When I was last in the city in Decenber I saw these bikes racks and was very excited, both as a cyclist and because I know one of the artists.

When I returned to the city last Thursday, I was shocked to notice that every single bike rack in this series had disappeared. What's going on? I have asked around but found no answer. Does anyone know why these racks have been removed or where they have gone?

Should there be public outcry? My letter is already drafted...

It is almost as if we need to have public demonstrations on how to use anything 'new' in this city. I volunteer my bike for a Saturday DYI class to teach others how to use the new racks.
